CC and BCC are email features that let you involve multiple recipients in the conversation.
CC And BCC Full Form
CC Full Form
CC’ stands for ‘Carbon Copy’ and originally meant that the person or persons mentioned in the ‘CC’ received a copy of the letter, or in our case, the email. In the case of a letter, all people mentioned in the ‘CC’ would see who else had a copy of the letter.
The primary recipient (addressed in the “To” field) will get to see people tagged in the email’s CC section. Also, a reply on this email will directly go to the primary recipient, unless you choose the “Reply to all” option in case you want people in CC to receive a reply on the thread.
BCC Full Form
BCC- this means blind carbon copy. The sender has added people that the receiving TO and CC are not able to see as a part of the email, someone on BCC is not to respond and they will not be included in the response from the TO or CC. BCC is often used to include a stakeholder like a boss to make sure they are aware of a situation but they can’t respond.
